Covered graduates must complete a year-long course containing intensive computer-literacy instruction. Schools may integrate it into another subject. This is distinct from requiring a standalone computer-science course.

Applies to cohorts entering grade 9 in 2022–23 and 2023–24 under subsection (e), and from 2024–25 under (e-5).
